Aastha started with the goal to literate, develop and empower people and involve them in the development of the Alwar District and the state of Rajasthan and rural area of Gandhinager & Ahmedabad of Gujarat. It is this belief that runs through the organization and can be seen in their services.
The various services at the center are:
- – Providing IT Education to the rural poor students of Rajasthan.
- – Providing Placement to deserving students.
- – Providing education facilities for SC/ST/BC and women population of the district.
- – To provide this services Aastha Development Trust has made agreement with The Aastha Institute of Information Technology (AIIT) to use their facilities at Gandhinagar with following Terms.
To Begin with Aastha Institute of Information technology will be setup at a 9, TIRTHNAGAR-2, Memnagar, Ahmedabad to develop ST Personal. The institute will design and offer various IT courses on e-com, Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering etc that related to the market requirement from time to time. These courses will be of various duration such as fast track, semi-fast track, normal track or even in the distance education mode or online mode. The entry criteria for various courses will vary. The institute will use modern techniques such as Multimedia, Distance education and the state of the art digital library. National and international experts from reputed institutes will be available as visiting faculty for a short duration so that the students will be able to learn current trends and develop products that have market in the national and international level.
Projects
A Software development Centre collocated with the institute will take up Commercial projects in the field of Network solutions, training, database creation and management, web enabled services, WAP related protocol development etc.
Placement Services
AIIT Software Development center will be planning to have many commercial projects for developing Customized Software solutions in various areas. As part of its aim of developing good IT Infrastructure, the placement cell gives opportunities for the students who are coming out of various courses undertaken through Aastha Institute of Information Technology. They would be provided with employment opportunity of 5 years at the software development center depending upon the availability of projects.
